His recent effort is not a true indication. Good enough to take out a race like this. VANDERBILT N (7) won two back at this track from a nice gate. Drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 15 metres into fifth at Plainridge Park over 1609m. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Certainly cannot be faulted after that last effort. Good enough to put himself back in the winners' stall. MANFERNO (3) was responsible for a better effort last time out when third over 1609m at this track. Should run a big race. LINDY THE BRAVE (1) is in the mix following a fifth at his most recent appearance over 1609m at this track.
