Wagga Race 9 - The Bidgee (Group 3)

NYACK (14) was terrific when only 1.3m behind wonder mare Captains Mistress in the Victoria Cup last start also placed behind her and Leap To Fame in the Inter Dominion Final in July. That is strong form for this and he has won three of four tries here. Tough draw but he is good enough to overcome it. Queensland Derby winner PALLADIUM NZ (3) is building a good record and was too good at Menangle last week. More depth here but he is well served by this barrier and is proven at this distance range. HESITATE (10) has joined Jason Grimson since last seen. Draws on the back row but was a Eureka placegetter last year so is good enough with his A-game. FOREVER ONTHE PUNT (2) has been very good since joining Brad Hewitt, winning three on the trot then chasing a handy one when second in last week's Breeders Challenge 4EG Final. Each way hope from the good draw. FORTY LOVE (11) is another that may require luck from the second row but brings strong form from Victoria and SA.
