Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw but off that big win he is surely a major force once more. THE NINJA (8) was a good third two runs back then scored a commanding win last start over 1790m at Mildura, getting home by 5.5 metres after finding the lead in the early stages. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line but may need luck at some point. Finds a tougher race but another win is not out of the question. TRY CATCHING ME (7) ended last prep with a seventh at this track over 1609m 12 weeks ago. Can open this campaign with a more positive effort. GERRYS JEWEL (3) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw.
