THE IRISH EAGLE (2) had little go to plan when midfield as favourite last start but was going well prior, finishing second in four of his previous five outings. It's been a long-time between drinks but he is suited down in grade and gets a good draw. OTIS RISING (6) was disappointing last start but that was in stronger company and his previous efforts at this venue were good. He deserves another chance in this suitable assignment. BETTATHANMOZARELLA (1) was held up and well beaten last start but did a good job to overcome a wide barrier and win at Newcastle prior. Gets the ace draw so could bounce back. MAKE MINE BETTOR (4) is in the mix if he can recapture the form from two starts back that saw him come from the back row and finish second at this circuit and distance.
