ALTO CORAGGIO (1) made it three seconds from as many starts when he led from wider and stuck on well to be beaten 1.2m at Echuca last time. Freshened since but has the speed to take full advantage of the ace draw so this is his chance to break through. TAMALIA (3) led and stuck on for third when resuming at Shepparton then had a tough barrier so was far from disgraced at her latest appearance at Melton. Better served by this nice draw so she can figure in the finish as can EVA EXPRESS (4) who didn't do a bad job when fourth at Melton last time out after finishing only 2m off the winner on debut. HOLLOW LOG (2) showed improvement in his last-start fifth at Geelong. Draws well so may progress further.
