Big chance if things go his way. MISSMALACHITE (7) had a win at Ararat on August 23 when leading all of the way before making up some ground but failing to threaten at her latest appearance over 1680m at Terang. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Tackles a similar assignment and she can find winning form. ESPERANZA (4) disappointed last start when finishing last of six over 1750m at Swan Hill last time out. Won two runs back at Kilmore as the favourite and is worth considering.
