TELERN LOFTY (10) landed a winning hat trick with a first-up victory at Bendigo before coming from a similar barrier to this for third at Charlton last week. May need an ounce of luck from this draw but has strong statistics both here and at the distance and should be close to his peak third up. INSIDE LEG (5) led from one one spot lower when getting the job done at his latest appearance at Echuca, scoring by 11 metres. Could go on with it. SPIRIT OF SAHARA (2) has been producing some solid efforts, clocking in second last week and scoring three back at Wagga. Should not have any excuses from the favourable draw. BLACKJACK WHACKO (9) cops a second row draw this time but deserves respect after winning his last two outings at this circuit and distance.
