Primary contender if she is at her best. MY SCIMITAR (3) could only manage to finish eighth at his latest appearance over 1780m at this track, a poor reflection on his short quote. Form prior to that was a better guide to his ability, including a very close fifth over 1660m at Albion Park two starts ago. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. ART OF ROCK (4) is the next best after finishing third over 2040m at this track last time out. ROCKIN SWEET (7) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish second at this track over 1780m.
