GET DOWN NOW (3) led as a hot favourite when making his debut at Bathurst and while he couldn't see it out he boxed on okay to be beaten less than 6m into fourth. Should be better for that experience and has the speed to go forward again from this barrier. Looks well placed. DETANGLED (1) came from the back row to place two back at Tamworth then raced parked when fifth last start at Bathurst. Has placed in two of three tries at this circuit and distance and should enjoy a good run from the ace draw. WINDY HILL THUNDER (2) should find this easier than the resuming effort at Bathurst a week ago. Fitter for that and draws well. MAYBE JANIS (9) was a touch disappointing last week but was good on debut at Wagga prior so may be worth another chance.
