LOYOLA GOLF (3) settled close to the pace then assumed control and dug deep to score in a 1660m race at this track last start, arriving a head ahead of his rivals to make it two wins from his past five runs. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. DRIVE TO THE BEACH (8) had a favourable gate and was too good at Dubbo two runs ago. Drew wide last start and was never a genuine threat, beaten 11 metres into sixth at Bathurst over 1730m. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line but may need luck at some point. Meets a comparable field and he can make amends. CARBAGANOOSH (9) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 2.5 metres at Bathurst over 2260m. HAZZA IS WATCHING (1) has drawn to advantage and should give backers a great sight.
