DEVIOUS MINDS (8) ended last campaign with some good form including a placing in the Nutrien Classic 3F Final at Wagga. Hasn't raced for four months but looks forward enough for the return after minor placings in two trials. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but has won two of three attempts here. ELEGANT STRIDE (7) produced a very good effort here last time, racing handy from the ace draw and fighting well for second and just a neck from the winner. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position but she is capable. ISLAND MANDALAY (3) didn't do a bad job when fourth at Menangle last time out. That continued the consistent form having finished runner-up in five of his previous six outings. Draws for another good showing. CENT FOR PLEASURE (5) draws a little wider but has been going well, winning two back at Bathurst and placing here last week.
