FAKE FRIENDS (5) is taking on a far easier race this time after finishing eighth in a Group One at her latest appearance over 1730m at Bathurst, beaten 35 metres by Ripples. Looms as the one to beat. WHERES MY REASON (3) had been about the mark in recent runs before the latest appearance when she scored by 4.5 metres over 1609m at this track. Has the benefit of a good draw. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. ULTIMATE ALL STAR (4) is usually thereabouts and looks a strong winning hope this time following a last-start third at this circuit. Rarely lets backers down. MIDNIGHT HAZE (2) was safely held last time out at the second run back from a spell. Open to plenty of improvement with a good draw assisting her chances.
