The previous time he raced at this circuit he placed in the NSW Derby. He is two from three when third-up and looks the one to beat. ALERT BAY (8) chased boom colt Loucasso for three straight seconds before landing a well-deserved win at this circuit and distance last start, working to the front from a similar draw to this before scoring by 7m. He could do that again. ENJABONARLO (2) has been racing well from wider barriers, recording a win in a heat of this series at Bathurst along with two placings at this circuit and distance from his last three outings. Draws to play a role again as does ETHANS REVENGE (1) who has some decent form behind him including a win here three back and he should enjoy a soft run.
