ON DASHER (1) has shown big talent in overcoming tricky draws to win his two starts to date. Worked forward from the extreme outside before finding the front and saluting by 7.6m here last week. This is a big class jump but he gets the ace draw. GOODTIME LOUIS (5) made a solid start in NSW when he finished third at this circuit and distance last week, beaten 4 metres. Likely to have come on from that so is capable of getting the job done. MICK DANGER (6) draws wide but did well in scoring by 1.6 metres in a higher-graded race at this circuit and distance last week. Could go on with it now that he is back in winning form. A good draw gives NOVANTA RISING (3) the chance to show his best while BARTELLO (10) may require luck from a wide barrier but is suited back in class having won here the last time he raced in this grade.
