BELLA LOUISE (7) led for a win at Ballarat two back before settling back from a second line draw and making up plenty of ground for a 1.8m second at her latest appearance at Kilmore. Up in grade but going well enough to take that step. EL LAZZAR (3) has been racing well from the second line, recording a win at Cranbourne two runs ago before a fourth last week at Ballarat. No excuses from this advantageous draw so can bounce back straight away. CORNISHTOWN KID (6) is a chance after a string of top-four results, the latest a solid fourth at Kilmore. FIVE CENT (2) is in the mix from the ace draw having come from wider for a respectable third at his most recent appearance at Maryborough.
