SCHWARZ (8) enjoyed the drop in grade from a Vicbred heat when he delivered last start at Geelong, his sixth win in seven starts this time in. No harm in drawing here with the sprint lane to rely upon. Looks well placed and hard to stop again. JACCKA EVAN NZ (7) kicked off this preparation with back-to-back wins then was held up late and finished third at his latest appearance here, beaten 3.3 metres. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but he is a two-time winner at this longer distance and is racing well. OLLIES THE BOSS (5) took advantage of the ace draw to lead and score last time at Geelong, his second success from his last four outings. Draws wider but can be competitive again. ISOLATION (6) has been solid since kicking off his campaign with back-to-back wins and returns to the front row.
