The draw has fallen perfectly for CAPTAINS MISTRESS NZ (3). The wonder mare was having her first outing since her defeat of Leap To Fame in July's Inter Dominion Final when she led throughout at Menangle a fortnight ago, a win that took her record in Australia this season to 13 from 14. Should only be better for the hitout and has the gate speed to take advantage of the low draw. It will take a big upset to stop her. Last year's winner KINGMAN NZ (8) showed improvement when 4m off Captains Mistress in Sydney last start. Tricky draw but he is a two-time third-up winner and looks to be hitting form again at the right time. DANGEROUS (12) also cops a tough draw but has done a good job to come from wide barriers for two easy Menangle wins off a spell. Stronger here but he'll be race fit owns a good record at the distance. BULLETPROOF BOY (4) did a great job to win the Smoken Up Sprint from the back row last week. Draws to be competitive. Improvement from MINOS NZ (11) wouldn't shock so include.
