THE QUEENS GAMBIT NZ (8) suffered her first defeat in Australia when she placed behind a star colt last start. Had looked good in easy wins at Menangle and Bathurst prior. Draws to trail the top pick and she has the talent to challenge. KEAYANG PASSION (6) has placed in all four starts this time in including the Vicbred Final when third to BETTOR BEACH.
