HALLEBESOFINE (7) was beaten narrowly into second as a hot favourite in the heats but that continued a long run of wins and placings including a second in the Vicbred final prior so she is a filly in form. Draws wide but she is reliable and has the class to win this if things go her way. JILLIBY AURA (2) led and faded last time but she is much better than that. Came from this barrier for a resuming win here last month. Well up to winning this with her A-game. HARPERSEVEN (5) didn't miss by much from this barrier in the heat and won her only other attempt at this distance. ALDEBARAN ADA (4) drew on the back row and raced parked when fourth in the heat, beaten 4 metres. Back on the front row and can be competitive.
