Melton Race 4 - Woodlands Stud Victoria Derby (3rd Heat)

Queensland Derby winner PALLADIUM NZ (1) returned off a let-up with an easy win two back at Menangle before a second to race rival Nymbal there last start. He led in both of those outings so expect him to take advantage of the ace draw. NYMBAL NZ (5) made-it-back to back wins with his Listed victory over Palladium in Sydney last start, beating him by 2.4 metres. Kept up to the mark with a trial since. Big danger again. SOHO PIASTRI (8) brings some decent form to this race including an easy win here two back. Draws to trail the top pick early so can be competitive again. DYNAMITEDAN (9) may need some luck from the back row but he was solid when he placed fresh and has won two of three second-up attempts so should be improved. CO CAPTAIN (3) jumps in grade but is racing well so may be worth including from a decent draw.
