MUNNY THE MUNSTER (3) had to work from a wider barrier before sticking on okay for a midfield finish in the Vicbred final last start. Led from this barrier to win a heat of that series here prior. Should push forward so can return to the winners' list. UNCLAD (2) was very good in the Vicbred series, placing in the heats before a second in the final. Strikes at 50 per cent at this shorter distance. Big threat from a low draw. THE PREACHER (6) was a touch disappointing in the Vicbred final but did well as runner-up in the heats. Could bounce back. MISTER DEVEREAUX (8) had a tough draw in the Vicbred final but draws for a trail this time and had recorded a series of placings prior.
