RUBYS DREAM (5) made a nice return at her latest appearance eight days ago, leading and fighting well to finish just a head away in second at Geelong. Draws a few spots wider but has won when second-up before so should be improved. Can go one better. THUNDA STRUCK (7) improved when second-up last start, using the sprint lane to get the better of RUBYS DREAM in the final strides. He draws wider but has scope for further progression. KEAYANG LAVITA (6) overcame a 20m handicap for a fresh win then didn't do a bad job when fourth after working last start. Strikes at 50 per cent at this circuit and distance. Contender. NAKEDTRUTH (3) draws well and could be close to a win after placing in three of his last four starts here. Respect along with QUIRKY CHARACTER (8) who could be getting back to his best after a 1.5m third last start.
