Melton Race 1 - Irt Graduation Series 3yo & Older Trot Final

SHONEE (1) made a strong return to racing when she led from wider and kept going to win at Maryborough last week. That was her first outing for more than six months so it should have improved her and she has the speed to take advantage of the ace draw. BANOS (6) is a progressive mare who made it thee wins from just four starts when she overcame a second line draw for a hard-fought win at Bendigo last time. Led from a similar draw to this when scoring at Shepparton prior. Big chance. KIMBERLEYS TREE (4) showed improvement last week when she led from this barrier and stuck on for a 2m third behind SHONEE. Fitter again third-up so can give a sight. CHAMPAGNE GEMMA (8) was checked and broke first up but atoned in style last week, scoring by 8.6m at Geelong. Draws on the back line but should enjoy a nice trail and will be close to her peak third up.
