MAXBECA (3) produced a strong effort at his latest appearance when he scored by 3 metres at Bendigo. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw and is proven at this circuit and distance. Could strike again. SHAZZA LOVE (13) continues to race well, filling a top-two position at her last seven starts including a win over a similar distance three back at Ballarat. Led and stuck on for second most recently at Bendigo. Tougher draw but also comes back in grade and her consistency is hard to knock. WICHITA KANSAS (2) draws well has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form, most recently when second at Ballarat. MIDNIGHT MOJO (11) was knocked out of the race last time but won here prior so deserves another chance despite a second row draw.
