HOWDY MATE (12) made a winning return in this grade at his latest appearance two weeks ago, coming from this row and racing wide in the latter stages before getting home by 1.4 metres. That took his strike rate at this circuit and distance to 50 per cent and while he draws wider he should strip fitter and has upside. CLAUDYS HERO (11) is racing well with a string top-two finishes. Winner three back at Bendigo and has come from this row for second in both starts here since. Contender. MITCHELL WRAP (8) only missed by a nose when runner-up from this row here last week and draws for a nice trail. HEZA GUN (5) hasn't been too far away from second line draws of late so is in the mix returning to the front row.
