IMPERIAL COMMAND NZ (9) has a recent win on the board but last time out finished 65 metres from the winner in tenth over 2240m at this track on August 2. Sharpened up since that outing with a minor placing at the trials. This doesn't look as hard and is capable of taking this out if he can reproduce his win two starts back. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT (1) has been racing well, filling a top-five position at her last seven starts including a third most recently at Kilmore over 2180m. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Meets a comparable field so she can play a significant role. DESERT ASSASSIN (3) has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form, most recently when third at Ballarat over 2200m. Must be included. KYVALLEY ANTHONY (4) must be included on the back of some solid recent form, most recently when third at Bendigo over 2150m.
