HOWDY MATE (7) has been in great form and added to a string of top-two finishes when runner-up from the back row at Melton. Led from a similar draw to this when he won the Vicbred Final three back. First try at this longer distance but he only needs to hold his form to be right in the finish. MUNNY THE MUNSTER (5) has been kept fresh since placing from wider in the Need For Speed Prince Final and had won two of his previous three outings. Can be prominent from this barrier so is right in this. Manners let KYVALLEY RAY NZ (10) down last start but he showed his talent with his Need For Speed Prince win prior. Draws on the back row but won over this distance the only time he raced here. He is good enough with manners and even luck. Tough draw for THE PREACHER (12) but he found form in beating HOWDY MATE for a last-start Melton win. UNCLAD (13) is another with a tricky barrier but has been racing consistently so include.
