Worked from wider when landing a tough win in the Dullard Cup two back before he raced three wide without cover but fought well for a 2.5m second in the Bill Collins Sprint last time. The lower draw gives him every chance to return to the winners' list. HOPPY NZ (1) had a tough draw in the Bill Collins Sprint so was far from disgraced when midfield. Had recorded a series of top-two results prior including a second to Lovemeto in the Dullard Cup when he was drawn on the back line. The ace draw gives him the chance to turn the tables. IM BOBBY (7) had a horror barrier when resuming the Bill Collins and while he draws deep here he is a three-time second-up winner so look for improvement. IMPERIAL MONARCH NZ (5) did a great job to place in the Bill Collins last start and beat a good mare prior. Must respect.
