SPESHAL (5) went back last start then worked home in good style to finish 40 metres from the winner in third at Stawell over 2180m, adding to her second at this track two runs back. Primary contender in this comparable race. DONNYOSKO (1) resumes from a spell of three months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 2150m at Bendigo. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Will have plenty of admirers. GREAT HORIZON (4) has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form, most recently when fourth at Shepparton over 2190m. Must be included. ARIVADERCHI (2) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 2180m at Stawell last time out.
