BELIEVE IN SUNNY (6) made a good return after 10 months, coming from a similar barrier and finishing less than 2 metres away in third here last week. Should be fitter for that so can progress. BIRMINGHAM GIRL (5) did a good job on debut at Cranbourne, finishing 4.2 metres from the winner in third. Draws a couple of spots wider but she is open to natural improvement. PASTOR JAY JAY (8) is a gelding by Pastor Stephen on debut for the John Justice stable. Has been trialling well and draws for a trail so is worth keeping safe. ROYAL LADY NZ (10) cops a tougher barrier but could be ready to win after recovering from a poor getaway to miss narrowly here last week. ELARIA (1) clocked in third when making her debut at Maryborough, albeit a fair way off the winner. Has plenty of scope for improvement and is well served by the ace draw.
