MY MATE ACE (8) has come back in terrific order, winning both starts since a spell including his lone attempt at this circuit and distance. Kept up to the mark with a trial win and is drawn to enjoy an economical run with the sprint lane in play. Could land the hat trick. TRYX VIXEN (1) started favourite but had to work and boxed on okay for second last start at Shepparton. Should enjoy better favours from the ace draw. OUR ULTIMATE LOIS (3) has joined Chris Svanosio since last seen in August but was kept ticking over with a trial placing here and she draws well. CORNISHTOWN KID (4) added to a string of top-four results when beaten 3.5 metres into third at Echuca last week. Has a good record at this distance and draws well.
