BREATHE EASY (1) has been racing in fine form with two wins and three placings from his last five starts. Has been coming from the back row of late so while this is a step up in class he is well served by the ace draw. AUSSIE JAY MAC NZ (6) came from the back row for a resuming win then covered some ground in the latter stages and finished second last start at Shepparton, beaten 2.8 metres. Race fit third up. Primary contender. THE GOLDEN HOOK (8) should find this easier than the resuming effort. Draws for a trail and should strip fitter so looking for improvement. The lone win of KYORETSU (4) came the only time he raced at this circuit and distance so respect.
