Tasmania's best pacer TRIEDTOTELLYA (12) made it four wins on the trot when dominating his heat last start, leading and cruising home by nearly 12m to maintain a perfect record at this distance and take his record here to nine from 12. Draws wide on the back row this time but has shown his class with wins in the Hobart Cup and Golden Apple this campaign and can land another feature. Former Kiwi DALTON SHARD NZ (9) is ticking along well having placed in all three starts since switching to Tassie. Race fit and goes well at this distance so can feature again with even luck from the second line. Hard to knock the consistency MAEBEE (2) who has put a series of wins and placings together. The good draw should see him competitive again. CELEBRITY ROYAL (7) draws wide but he is a consistent gelding yet to miss the top-two this time in so deserves respect.
