GREAT TRICKSTER (8) was responsible for a good effort at his latest appearance to get home by a narrow margin over 1609m at this track on August 14. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Meets a comparable field and he can get the job done again. SMORGASTARTA (9) won two back at this track from a nice gate. Drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 10 metres into fourth at Georgian Downs over 1609m. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. Forgive that last effort. Good enough to put herself back in the winners' stall. HALTON HILL (2) is in the mix following a respectable third at his most recent appearance over 1609m at this track. SEEME ZOOM (4) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 1609m at this track last time out.
