Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to go one better. B STONEY (1) was out of the money two runs back at this track then improved sharply last start to score by 3.5 metres over 1609m at Kawartha Downs. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. It doesn't get any easier but he is good enough to take this out. P L OLIVER (5) disappointed last time when ninth over 1609m at this track. Can bounce back. BOLD SPIRIT (7) is in the mix following a respectable second at his most recent appearance over 1609m at Mohawk Park.
