MAD MONDAY (7) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months after showing some very good form last time in, kicking off the campaign with four straight wins here including the G2 Preux Chevalier. Must overcome a wide draw but expecting a bright start to the campaign. ULTIMATE MIKI (9) is a capable gelding first up from a break of four months. Draws wide but showed good form here last time in and races very well fresh with three wins and a placing from four attempts. CAPTAIN STIRLING (1) was brave when a 1.5m fourth after drawing on the back row and racing three wide without cover last time out. Draws to enjoy better favours this time. CHASE ME NZ (6) will find this easier than his last attempt in the 4YO Championship and had placed in his other two outings here this time in.
