SOUTH AUSSIE STAR (5) turned in an uncharacteristically poor run last time out when 12 metres away in sixth over 1800m at this track. Form prior to that had been solid and she is good enough to take this out. MONARCH (3) was beaten 70 metres on debut last start over 1800m here. Draws low and is capable of a lot more this time around. SEABREEZE LAD (2) was out of the money two starts ago then things went amiss last start when he broke and finished a distant sixth over 1800m at this course.
