Geelong Race 4 - Betavet Graduation Series 3yo & Older Pace (Heat)
MIDNIGHT MOTH (9) was brave as runner-up in the Graduation Series 3YO Final last start when he worked but fought well to go under by just a neck. Had some good form prior, kicking off his career with back-to-back wins including his lone visit to this venue. Good enough to come from the back row and win. TACTICALLY PERFECT NZ (8) is a promising filly who has won as a hot favourite in both starts so far. Was first up for close to six months when scoring by close to 5m at Melton last week. Draws to enjoy a nice trail with the sprint lane in play and has plenty of upside. HAPPILY (4) drew on the back row and was held up late when beaten less than 5m at Melton last time. Suited returning to the front row having recorded a win and a second the two times she has started from there. SWEETHEART DIOR (3) draws well and looks close to a win off back-to-back seconds. EXOTIC CHESTER (5) drew wide when fourth on debut then improved to win his maiden at Ballarat. Could take another step forward.
