DESERT ROYALE (4) finally broke the ice last start when he found the lead and did well to go on and score by 4.5 metres at this track over 1609m. Meets a similar line up so he can certainly make it two on the bounce. KITTY CASH (6) galloped last start and finished a distant last when resuming in a 2100m event at Geelong two-and-a-half weeks ago. Only needs to get things right to be in contention. THATS MY CARDIGAN (8) is better than his last-start seventh over 2080m at this track. Each-way chance. ZIPPING VOLSTEAD (2) could only finish ninth over 1690m at Maryborough most recently. Open to improvement and is in the mix.
