Leading hope if anywhere near his best. TUPELO BEACH (3) went back last start then worked home in good style to finish just a head from the winner in third at Bendigo over 2150m, that run following his seventh at the same circuit two runs back. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Good enough to take out a race like this. BONA KHAN (5) is in the mix following a fourth at his most recent appearance over 1710m at Ballarat. ALPHA CRUCIS (7) is worth considering if he can recapture the form from two starts back that saw him finish third over 1609m at this track.
