SMOKEN ACE NZ (5) worked forward from another wide draw on the front row last start then would not lie down and finished second over 2240m at Melton, beaten a neck. Recent efforts are full of merit. Good enough to put himself right in the finish. RAKAJED NZ (6) didn't do a bad job when sixth over 2240m at Melton last time out. MY UNCLE STAN (2) is the best of the rest after finishing third over 1720m at Melton last time out.
