SAVON DE ROCHE (4) has been racing in great heart and was very good when she came from the back row to miss by a head as runner-up at Maryborough last start. That gave her two wins and two placings from four starts this time in. Back on the front row here and she strikes at 50 per cent at this venue so can return to the winners' list. CATIES SON (5) in in fine form having recorded two wins and two seconds from the past five starts. Led at his latest appearance when he got the job done by 1.5 metres at Kilmore. Draws wider but going well. SIR SONNY MAGUIRE NZ (1) resumes after eight months but was readied with a trial placing. Hasn't missed a place here and is aided by the ace draw. SHAQ (3) has been coming from wider or second row barriers, including when he scored last month at Maryborough. Should not have any excuses from the favourable draw.
