SMOOTH BUZZ (11) drew wide and worked before fading out last time so that result can be forgiven. Had looked close to a win when recording a series of top-four finishes at Menangle prior. The longer distance should suit as he owns a good record at it here. Primary contender with even luck from the back row. ALWAYSBMYPONY (9) went back last start then made up a stack of ground to score by a head at this circuit and distance. Shouldn't spend a penny from this draw and the sprint lane may come in handy. Up in grade but another win is not out of the question. SHAZADELE (5) is another up in class but she is one of the contenders after winning her past two starts at this venue. Difficult to ignore that sort of form. GUILTY PARTY (6) is another that is tough to leave out on the back of two successive wins, overcoming difficult draws each time.
