BETTORS HOPE (6) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when he came from out wide to be beaten only 1.7 metres at Menangle. Runner-up here prior. Draws a little wide but can measure up with even luck. DUN SPRUIKIN (5) has been racing well at this circuit and distance, winning two back and placing last time. Sharpened up since that outing with a minor placing at the trials. Good enough to put himself back in the winners' stall. CHANCEUX (4) has been hard to fault of late winning two in a row here, one of them over this distance. JUDAH RED (10) did a good job to finish in the minor placings from out wide when fresh two runs back then broke last time. Can bounce back.
