THE SWIFT ONE (1) was held up from this barrier but still produced a a very good effort last time at this circuit and distance, finishing third and just 2 metres from the winner. With even luck she could take care of this line-up. HOPPALONGPOG (4) bombed the start and took no competitive part last time but was racing consistently prior including a fourth two runs ago at Menangle. Owns a good record at this circuit and distance so is worth another chance. SHAZADELE (5) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win when she drew widest and worked but toughed it out by 1.8 metres at this circuit and distance. PAS DE CHEVAL (10) has claims off a placing in stronger company two back.
