WISHAS DARLING NZ (7) is a highly progressive three-year-old who took his record at this circuit and distance to three from four when he came from the back row and raced wide but toughed out a win last week. He was competitive in a NSW Derby heat prior. Strong claims. BANKSY NZ (11) enjoyed the drop in grade from the city when he came from a similar barrier to this and worked but proved too strong in last week's heats. That saw him unbeaten in two tries at this distance. Big chance again. BEYOND DOUBT NZ (6) was good in his heat win by more 4 metres when resuming. Should strip fitter and draws a couple of spots lower so could strike again. ALWAYSBMYPONY (8) must be respected after coming from this barrier to score by 5 metres last week.
