RIPP (9) has been racing well at Menangle where he has placed despite working in his last two outings against decent opposition. Those efforts indicate he is close to another win and he owns a 50 per cent strike rate at this circuit. Draws alone on the back row so should have options. Looks tough to stop. FASHION ICON (6) came from the outside barrier and worked when fourth last time out but draws a couple of spots lower. Good enough to win if things go his way. SMOOTH BUZZ (8) draws wide but has been going well from the back row of late and his strike rate at this circuit and distance stands at 50 per cent including a win in his last attempt last month. HUNTER SHANNON (3) has been about the mark of late and must be respected from a good draw.
