AALIYAH (6) in what was her second run this prep finished second as the favourite last start, beaten 2.25 metres, in a nice return to form at this track over 2200m. Recent efforts are good enough to take out a race like this. SANDO DENARIO (5) finished fourth fresh-up last start, beaten 16 metres at Gore Raceway over 1700m. Strips fitter and is expected to run well. RAKATAYCAN (3) last appeared when sixth over 1609m at Central Southland Raceway six months ago. Has had the benefit of two recent trial runs so should be ready to fire. Look out for any positive market movement. FREEDOM SWEET (4) finished seventh of eight over 2200m here last start when on debut and was then spelled.
