GOT THE CHOCOLATES (1) won his first three starts of the campaign before coming from the back row for second in last week's Taylor Mile. Hasn't missed a place in four tries at this longer distance and should get the right run from the inside draw. SWAYZEE (7) has had tough draws in both outings of his latest NZ raid but he has performed well, charging late in The Race before fighting well in the Taylor Mile. Draws out again but gets his chance over the longer distance. THE LAZARUS EFFECT (4) is impossible to knock having completed the hat trick and maintained an unbeaten record at this venue when coming from this barrier to beat many of these rivals in the Taylor Mile. Won his only try at this longer distance so could continue on his winning way. SOONER THE BETTOR (5) was racing consistently with a string of top-two finishes before his midfield Taylor Mile result. Has a good strike rate at this distance so must be included.
