ALDEBARAN REDWOOD (5) ran seventh last start at Ruakaka over 2100m, beaten 30 metres. Meets some better types this time but a win is on the cards. PARADISE ALI (8) finished fourth last start over 2100m at Ruakaka but was very competitive, beaten only 2.25 metres. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she good enough to play a major role. TRIFOLIUM (3) is a big chance following a run of three top-three finishes, the latest at Cambridge Raceway two weeks ago. Real threat to the top selections. CYCLONE SALA (1) has drawn to advantage and should give backers a great sight.
